Cheetah Posted April 4, 2013 Share Posted April 4, 2013 I am interested in a Gibson with serial# of 0070074. It looks suspicious to me but I am a rookie with electric guitars. The number is on a chrome plate on the body close to the heel. I wanted to post a pic but can't see how to. Guitar is gold and has two double humbuckers. It is also very worn and the grain of the top runs with the body and not across. Worn places looks like cross-grained plywood underneath. But finish is very smooth. Confusing. Any help?
