How does that 'burst differ from the tobacco sunburst?

i was thinking same thing , says amberburst but just looks like tobacco burst to me . nice guitar

Yeah looks like a normal sunburst to me too. The Amberbursts I've seen pictured have all been a good bit lighter.

It might be my crappy cell phone camera, or not. All I know is I plugged it into a little cigar box amp, played the slide part of No Expectations, drank scotch and felt great.

Beautiful guitar. The finish looks like my 2012 J45 but just a little lighter

Guys what is this finish officially called? Do they just call it sunburst?

You all were right, not an amber burst. I got confused with the different custom flavors.

The orange label model will clearly state " J45 amberburst", or words to that effect.
