jnh928
I just purchased a 1995 Gibson Flying V from a seller on Ebay. I am concerned it may have a twisted neck. However, it may be an "optical illusion" due to the nut having a slope. I took it to a reputable guitar tech and he says there are no issues with the neck, but I wanted to get everyone's opinion. I do not want to invest money in getting it set up if it has major problems. Thanks for you help :)
Henky
Looks OK to me, and if it doesn't have any dead spots, you have nothing to worry about.
665
Looks fine to me. As long as it plays well I would just chalk it up to the curve of the fretboard, which I'm sure it is.
StijnV
Looks fine to me as well. However, for the straightness of the neck, please see also: http://www2.gibson.com/Support/Tech-Tips/Basic-Guitar-Setup.aspx
