10drum Posted August 27, 2013 Share Posted August 27, 2013 Greetings, I ran across a Gibson J-45 listed on a online dealer's web sight. The guitar is listed as a "1981 Gibson J-45 original prototype #6" The label is signed by Abe Wechter and dated 10-20-81. It is a slopped shoulder guitar. I thought most of the post 60's era J-45's were square shoulder. I'm just curious if anyone would know anything about early 80's Gibson J-45's and/or Abe Wechter???? Thanks for all replies.
