dickpierce Posted September 4, 2013 Share Posted September 4, 2013 HI, I have just purchased my first Gibson, a 2005 Les Paul Studio in high gloss ebony black. Absolutely in mint condition. I have only had it for a week but am pretty sure it will become my favorite guitar. I am trying to find a website or someplace where I can find out exactly what type of pickups were originally provided by Gibson on this model as well as any other information on the electronics (volume & tone controls). I found an "extra" pick up in the hard case and it sort of concerns me since I don't know where it came from. Any help or direction would be appreciated ........ Jon S. Posted September 7, 2013 Share Posted September 7, 2013 Welcome to the forums, and congrats on your new LP!! This likely came with 490R/498T humbuckers, 300K Volume pots, and 500K tone pots.
