Did you hear that woke up this morning and found myself dead?

Were Jim just starts singing with Jimi in NYand starts swearing a lot?

Jimi tries to stop him at first then just laughs and goes with it lol.

It was horrible.

Now you just need the original LP's.

I had Essentials 1 & 2 on LP and Concerts when I was a lot younger

I have a turntable now and I thought about grabbing the reissues.

I have looked at Pink Floyd and Beatles and Hendrix KISS stuff I had as a kid back in the 70s.

Its hard to justify it when you already got it though.

I have some rare vinyl releases of Jimi's Royal Albert Hall performances.A French film crew did filming and recording of the concerts with professional gear. The performances were just breath taking,Jimi does a version of Bleeding Heart that has one of his slowest yet most soulful lead breaks,I actually get teary eyed when I listen to it because you can feel the emotion that he puts into his playing as if it were something tangible, it just reaches out and wrenches your heart out-well mine anyway. The concerts span 2 albums and I don't know if the audio tapes were ever committed to CD format.I do know that Janie put a stop to them releasing the video content of the Concerts, yet made them an offer to buy the video tapes from them but the amount was so ridiculously low that they took it as an insult.I guess that unless they can come up with suitable and equable terms,we will never see the video of what was one of his most outstanding performances.I have bootleg tapes of Jimi's Ottawa and Winterland concerts that were given to me way before Jimi's father died,it must have been in the late 70s or early 80s.The sound quality of these tapes leaves much to be desired but the playing is incredible.

I think I did hear that. Did that have F.H.I.T.A on it? lol...

Lots of drunken screaming mostly from what I recall.

Are you sure you or your info source knows and has all the exact facts?

That's the first thing I always find flaw with in like say religious or political issues and this is a bit of both to me really.

You see Jimi wanted to call his band Sky Church at the end and wanted to distribute the music free of charge.

Well the record company vetoed that idea... Imagine that?

They said you better give me something I can sell and when Jimi corrected them on stage and said we are really just a band of gypsies.

The record company said ok there is your name change, Jimi Hendrix and the Band of Gypsies.

Experience was WAY better in my opinion.

But the lil history lesson gets to my point Jimi wanted to give away his music he didn't even understand he owned Electric Lady Land Studio.

He was a dope head that just really rocked on guitar.

I have heard so many points made about this stuff right down to we should get the music free because that's what Jimi Wanted.

I am a member of Crosstown Torrents as you probably are too.

I grab stuff there that is only available there but check this out.

I didnt grab any of this on pirates bay lol ;)

I guess my point is you arent the first guy telling me all this.

Im sure you wont be the last but I just keep on trucking lol :)
