Even the same type of tube, but a different manufacturer can change things. Be aware that the V! slot will, in most cases, have the biggest impact. Best place for the best tube. What type of amp, I'm not familiar with a BC30? In a Fender the 12AT7 goes really well in the V1 position. Other circuits, not so much. Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...
