badbluesplayer
New Celestion G12H-75 speaker. It's better suited to the amp than the alnico was. I had to send the alnico back to Weber for repairs anyway. This thing sounds really awesome now.

badbluesplayer
Tell ya what - I figured out why Dumble put epoxy on the leads on those big resistors on the power tube sockets. Because they vibrate really bad in a combo and the ratio of the big mass of the resistors to the flimsy stiffness of the leads makes for really weak joints. It also helps to orient the resistors cross-wise to the weakest direction of the leads. Or epoxy the leads.
