Im thinking about this for the Ted Nugent tribute if it takes off Its a ES 137 Classic What do you think? I love Ted and am a big fan,

Hello Donny!

That's wonderful!!! Really wonderful. [thumbup]

When were these made? I wish there was a budget-version jazzbox in Gibson's range these days...

Cheers... Bence

Bence,, you biatch... lol ;)

Really??? I thought they made 500 of each color?

1800 pound??? Wow,, that's ridonkulous!!

I paid 2200 Canadian for mine which is about 1180 pound today.

I would watch that auction. There is no way he's selling it for that price.

Same guitar.......nobody wants it even for £1,100........bloody cheapskates...

I've got one... Picked it up to replace a 78 antique natural custom I should have never sold... 2012 heavy weight, just changed the truss cover to show "Custom" Not actively selling, but I'd consider an offer greater than $2k US... It's like new. My pics are to dense to post, but will if y'all are interested...

Hello!

Upload pictures to a Photobucket account. Then, copy the IMG-code into Your post.

Post it in the "The trading post" section.

Good luck...however I wouldn't sell it ;)

Cheers... Bence

Thanks btoth76! OK y'all see the pics and if interested, let me know... $2k US is my bottom line, but let the bidding begin. This thing is a beauty for sure! Exactly why I'm afraid to play it (story to long to tell, but takes me back to my 78 antique natural custom).

I'm now thinking of changing the "plastic" on my Gold Top, to "Cream!"

What do you guys think? Good Idea, or "Dumb?" LOL I did that, to my

1980 Regular LP Custom (Cherry Sunburst), and loved the results. And,

since most "Gold Tops" used to come standard with "cream" plastic, I

think it might look even more "Classic" than it already does? Anyway,

just a thought (so far)! [biggrin]

The black looks surprisingly nice on your Goldtop, but I'm with you on changing to cream pickguard switch washer and probably gold tophat knobs - that would really look "classic" [thumbup] [thumbup]

Im thinking about switching to gold hardware on mine...

I've always been a fan of Gold Hardware on Black (or White) Les Paul Customs!

A lot of people don't care for gold hardware, on ANY gutiar, but

it's such a Classic, and Classy look, and screams LP Custom! I even

think that when it "fades" it still has a nice patina, if well cared for,

much like a nice finish checking does, on the body of a vintage instrument.

So, Go For It! [thumbup][biggrin]
