clintuk
Not sure if this should be here or just in the general forum for all guitars but here it goes! Anybody has a problem with sharp neck binding cutting into the skin when playing? I bought a beautiful ES335 bass a few months ago and although it sounds and looks amazing I can’t help but feel a little disappointed by a couple of quality issues which I just wouldn’t expect on a Gibson. The first thing was that the pick-up switch/selector rattled but I can deal fix that easily. After playing a long gig I found that my hand was cut from sliding up the binding and I wanted to know if this was a common problem? I’ve never has a bass with binding before so no experience of it! ramone57
I have a Les Paul Triumph that has a bound neck but it's not very sharp. I never really notice it while playing; it feels like an unbound neck. you have some very nice basses, btw. welcome to the forum!
