pieandapint Posted March 21, 2014 Share Posted March 21, 2014 Hi.......I've been having real tuning problems with my gibson es339, particularly with the G string.......I've had the nut replaced by a top class guitar tec.....am using nut sauce...have tried various gauges of string from 9-12.....have replaced the bridge etc ....tuning still pretty unstable.....any suggestions before I sell it on. Mr. X Posted March 21, 2014 Share Posted March 21, 2014 What kind of tuners? Can you tighten up the head by turning the screw at the end of the button? May the machine head mechanism is loose.
