Aster1
Have a first string buzz on a relative new Epiphone DOT. Was not there before. I have tried raising the bridge but action not the same. Kindly advise! Try putting a small tear of typing or newspaper between the nut & the string as a test. If the buzz goes away maybe a fret has raised up slightly. Check the neck relief as well. It may be too flat without a slight amount of bow for the level of the fret board. Aster
10K-DB
Try "sightlining" the neck for twist/bow. Look at the strings from the bridge looking tword the nut,,compare the straight line of the string in relationship to the edge of the fretboard,,it may be twisted a bit. Maybe a truss rod adjustment? MissouriPicker
Along with all these good ideas, you might also try loosening the string, making sure it's in the slot for the nut and saddle, then tuning it up again. A great many saddle slots are very shallow and it doesn't take much for a string to be off a bit.
