BluesKing777
thx, just ordered a copy! Ha ha de ho ho! I am glad you liked the sound of the book. I was just informed that the writer likes to be his own man, and has written many books, but is actually Sinead O'Connor's brother. Direct from my better half! BluesKing777. BluesKing777
I take it we should be thinking roddy Doyle as a reference ? Possibly an influence, but you won't get a commitment on that from me........... BluesKing777.

BluesKing777
I have almost got to the end of this book and really...I don't want to finish, I enjoyed it so much! Without spoiling any story, here is one bit (of many, many, many) that made me laugh - he is picked up at an airport in a Lexus for a legal meeting: "I've been inside Kyoto cocktail lounges smaller than the Lexus and less comprehensively stocked with booze. Newspapers,wi-fi, television, ipod dock, nintendo wii. It was a car you could go to on your holidays." BluesKing777.
