I think we're on the same page about populations regardless of causal factors involved in anything having to do with weather. The lessening of food production area is another factor caused simply by more people.

As for the rest...

Not sure that enjoying is the word I'd use for today's weather to be honest.

Cold and wet where I am ATM.

Not a bad evening. At 10:45 PM
63 F
calm
fair and clear. The full moon tonight looks cool Posted Image

The weatherman forecasts the "poler vortex" is moving in, possible record low temps in a couple of days. The cool weather is nice, but eventually leads to, colder weather Posted ImagePosted ImagePosted Image

Drudge Report headline:

OZ CITY HITS COLDEST TEMP IN 103 YEARS

Not since July 28 1911 has Brisbane felt this cold, getting down to a brisk 2.6C at 6.41am...

13 max here today and at 0607 the open fire is roaring!

Bloody cold day yesterday, coldest for the season with a biting wind.

I almost had to get out of short sleeves~

It's the humidity there that's the problem isn't it?

Had one of those "why we live here days". High 70's fahrenheit, sunny, warm and altogether perfect. And no, don't move here LOL.

Pretty much same old, same old for the past few days! [thumbup]

weather news yesterday said a "polar vortex" like the one last winter is supposed to plunge the Eastern U.S. into record low summer temps by mid to late week. [confused]

could make for an interesting week ahead....as Alabama will be in the effected area.
