Approximate Date for This Uke

Recommended Posts

I picked this up last week. It had one crack on the back that I had repaired.

I'm thinking late 20's to early 40's but would like some other opinions.

No markings.

Other than the crack it's in amazing condition and looks like it was barely played.

It looks like the pics didn't go through. You can email them to us at service@gibson.com and we'll be happy to check it out.

Thanks, I fixed the links to the pictures.

The Style is Uke 1. They had also 2 and 3 being the highest. The Gibson peghead logo dates it to late 20s early 30s.

Terry

+1. This came out in 1926 and had the "The Gibson" logo until 1935/36, so this would have been made around then.
