Vigiano Posted July 21, 2014 Share Posted July 21, 2014 I have a The Paul 2 black guitar and am wondering how much it differs from a Les Paul made about the same time in 1996. It has 490 & 498 Humbuckers and is 2/3 the thickness. It doesn't have a maple top and has a rosewood fretboard. The back of the guitar is carved like a strat and weighs about 6 lbs.. I bought it because I've had 4 spine surgeries and the full Les Paul is difficult to pick up when I'm hurting. I heard my instructors 1980 with p90's and it was a lot hotter as he explained it. Any insight would help. Also if anyone knows how to adjust a blues junior to sound more like the full Les Paul version. Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...
