The "Elite" line was not different to the regular line of instruments, it's more of a marketing thing for the Japanese market. These instruments usually had the same configuration as the regular top-of-the-line instruments, means active EQs, TransTrem (on guitars), etc. The major difference was the gold logo and a certificate signed by Ned.
