hello

I would like to put (set up) my pickups in a good position with the strings

I have a classic 57 and 498T

you must press the last fret and measure

can you tell me how far must be the classic 57 and 498T for maximum sustain?

I have a floyd rose too in my guitar (les paul pro fx)

see if these help

the long and the short of it is:

the best advice is to start with a gap of 1/16 inch between bridge pickup and strings and 3/32 inch between neck pickup and strings, and this makes a good general base from which to launch your own experiments.

keep in mind these are all starting points.

there is also another setting where you adjust the poles in the humbuckers to match the fret board radius to achieve a good balance across all strings
