DCBirdMan Posted July 25, 2014 Share Posted July 25, 2014 I might be coming into a 50s 175 that had been stripped of parts (bad!) but also had been hacked for 2nd pickup cut, (well maybe not such a bad thing) and one or two extra holes for extra knobs..s someone's idea of cool. But wont' buy until I can get tuners, bridge, and tailpiece to check it out --get it strung up and see how it frets and plays. Getting some reissues Klusons, no prob. Had wondered if the wooden bridge was the same for all the archtops including lower end, thinlines 120/125/225, etc. Parts dealers put higher price on a "175 bridge" but if it is the dang same as other models I would just get one of those for less.
