KillerKalamazoo
Whats up everyone? Quick little back story, my grandfather passed away a few months ago and I saw an old guitar laying around his room and my grandmother said I could take it. I figured out it is a Kalamazoo made by Gibson but I am not sure which year or any other information about it. I did do some research but didn't find out too much. I started taking lessons with it three weeks ago and I was hoping someone can help me identify the year and pass along some other information so I know the guitar I'm playing. The serial number on the inside says 282A. Thank You! http://imgur.com/a/Y30iK

cjsinla
There are some members on this forum who have answered questions about this type of guitar before. You will probably eventually get an answer to your original question. My recollection is that this type of guitar was made by the Gibson company during some lean times but I cannot remember the era when they were making them. I want to say they were made around the depression or World War II but I am not sure.
