Lefty Guy
One of the great things about Kaufman Kamp is how it inspires you to try new things. This year I took vocal class but on "class "scramble morning (when you can try out any other class) I went along to songwriting. This one hour "taster" with Kate Campbell was a real eye opener & I have been determined to try my hand........so here is my 1st effort. Pretty simple stuff but I'm quite pleased with the result. Hope you guys like it? Apologies, just realised I posted this in wrong sub-forum...

MissouriPicker
Nicely done. That guitar is sweet too. Keep writing. Try to make a note of all the good ideas and lines, because an hour later they won't be there...lol...Been there and done that many times.

AnneS
That was a very nice listen- you hit a fine mark. Seems to me that "simple" is truest, and I think you did real good here! Glad you shared- 👍

Glad you shared- 👍 It seems that the older I get, the simpler I like stuff! Hence my late/middle age love affair with bluegrass/country music. Don't tell Lyle Lovett's Large Band or Zac Brown Band or Vince Gill that Country is simple! Some of the tightest musicianship I have ever heard. Again nice work. Lefty Guy
Don't tell Lyle Lovett's Large Band or Zac Brown Band or Vince Gill that Country is simple! Some of the tightest musicianship I have ever heard. By "simple" I don't necessarily mean "easier", rather less complex.
