buliwyf
I used to play some bass and found this Carvin right before X-mass about 10 years ago. Dont know if the owner was celebrating early or just wanted X-mass cash but I got a great deal on this CARVIN BASS. It's a AC50 which means its a 5 string acoustic\electric and in like new condition and got it for a deal of $500.00 with a like new hard case out the door.Whoever origionally bought this new from Carvin paid some serious case for it.I added it up with all the options from a Carvin catalog from those days and it was somewhere around $1400.00. It had a great tone unpluged played acoustically but wasnt loud enough to keep up with a couple of 6 string acoustics. Plugged in it was darn good sounding and being fretless it could get sounds a fretted bass could not,big time fun to play.I always thought it was good looking. Mahogany body with a flamed Koa top mahog.neck with a ebony fretless fretboard no dots matching flamed koa headstock. Ebony acoustic bridge with TUSQ saddle and strings-through-body LR Baggs ribbon trensducer pickup Active electronics with master volume, bass & treble controls Forgot to put a picture of my good looking Gibson SG Supreme, mahog.body, real flame maple top.Ebony board, gold hrdware and some good sounding P90's
