Les Paul "Classic" truss rod cover

Recommended Posts

Any body know where I may find a Les Paul "Classic" truss rod cover. My guitar has a Standard cover on it.. Been checking EBaywith no luck

They don't show them as being for sale at the Gibson store but I know that they did make them and put them on at least a few models. I'm sure people took them off in favor of blank ones like I did. EBay might be your best hope at any rate.

Yeah, I took mine off, and replaced it with a '59 TRC, with the wider "white" beveling!

Looks great! But, I plan on keeping my "Classic" TRC, just in case I ever want to sell it

(Not very likely), in it's original form. I took out the Hot Ceramic pickups, and replaced

them, with Classic '57-57+, as well. And, just had those awful "greenish" fret makers

replaced with the "non-aged" versions. It now looks and sounds, like I want.

But, to answer your original question...have you tried Gibson CS? I've seen the "Classic"

TRC's on E-bay, from time to time, as well. So, don't give up...you'll find one, I'm sure! [thumbup]
