I started out using Traktor when I first got my SCS.1 system, then I switched to VDJ7 because the mapping was tighter and the workflow was much simpler.

I was really hoping that VDJ8 would solve some of the platter problems I've had since day one, but so far it hasn't. This has me wondering if maybe I should give Traktor another go.

Has anyone had success with any other software? I heard some chatter a while back about the SCS.1 being mapped successfully to Mixxx.

recent vdj 8 beta updates are fine with the scs 1d, no more drifting issues when holding the platter and pitch is stable now.

Scratch is great with the vdj 8 algorithm.

At the moment vdj 8 with the latest fixes is the best option for the scs 1d users.

the last vdj8 builds (1845|1932>1949) are very stable on the scs1d, pitching and scratching is almost perfect, but if you just want to play house/techno,Traktor Pro 2 is also very good.FX variety and combos is much better.
