crust
I'm going to have Bigsby and roller bridges added to the Casino and LP Florentine. I'm also having a couple other older guitars worked on. The black Montoya LP copy is getting new tuners , a Bigsby and roller bridge (this guitar looks somewhat like Neil Young's "old black") and an other, no name (a free guitar, like the Montoya) will get a new furrule on one of the tuner pegs. All will get new strings. I'm going to my guy as the work he and his "team" do is always perfect, he has all the tools to do it right, and I get to look at all the guitars in his shop. http://www.guitardoctor.com/
milod
Y'know.... I could really get to dislike you on a personal basis. <grin> A shop like that close to home? It should be illegal, and it's certainly immoral and fattening. m
crust
I can replace strings, adjust the string height and set intonation as well as tweak the truss rod...that's about it. You are right Milo, it is nice to have a pro luthier to take my instrument's to for "adjustment's". I am kind of fortunate to have a shop like this relatively close by (less than half hour drive, next town over, nice people there too) I didn't get there today, time restraints, tomorrow looks better. but I will get there...lol
