Not sure about the R maybe it means Request. DI has to be the colour code and stands for Diamond Sparkle in my opinion. CH says Chrome Hardware, and 1 could mean factory first although there are no official factory seconds anymore. Anyway, I'm happy being able to decipher the model codes of my own guitars.
