AJ Ray
I have looking at a Gibson advanced Jumbo custom shop which I am told is a 2010 model. I have only seen pictures so far and it looks authentic (I owned an AJ before) The question is though why is there no serial number stamped on the back of the headstock? Any ideas? Serial number is probably on a paper label inside the soundhole, and/or stamped inside on the neckblock. Location of serial numbers varies from model to model. BigKahune
.... why is there no serial number stamped on the back of the headstock? .... Certain "historical" reissues put the serial on the neck block (instead of the headstock) in keeping with what was done on the original release. .
