Does anyone know if these Gotoh Locking tuners a good I have a Gibson J-15 walnut back and sides that I want to replace the tuners on

I like to know if these are good or what your thoughts are....I like this vintage look but I'm looking for a good quality and ease of string changes

I think this has a late 60s early 70s look what do you think ???

Those look great, but you may just want to consider the plain white buttons with that slope shape. This site has both the keystones you are looking at and the plain white button style in a non locking variety at a lower price.

I bought the plain white button tuners from this site for my Southern Jumbo TV and like them better than the keystones but that's just me. If I had not just sold the keystones that were on the SJTV for $20, I would have been happy to sell them to you! :)

My luthier tells me there is no need to spend extra money on locking tuners as long as you've got a good set up. YMMV.

No matter what, do it your way and enjoy!

I just ordered from Carvin Guitars locking tuners for my Gibson J-15 they look like there made by Schaller

I'm going to Epoxy old coins like a Indian Head pennies over the name Carvin and you can have any color knob you want for $9 more "I ordered Oval white pearloid" for a vintage look

I normally order Sperzel Locking Tuners but these Carvin tuners have a better Gear Ratio 19:1
