Hi,

I've just bought an used Epiphone Nikki Sixx Blackbird (S/N 1210200679) on eBay and noticed that is doesn't have the Opti-Grab on board.

Should be a different edition or something else?

Here's the link of the auction:

Thank you so much!

Alessandro

That will make it rare and more desirable or it's just a bad thing? [confused]

I don't think that it makes it more desirable or rare or that it's a bad thing. some might think that since it's missing; it's not complete. personally, I wouldn't worry about it.

That's interesting [confused] It looks like someone missed something on the assembly line.

IMO from a collectors stand point it would be worth less since it's incomplete.

From a players stand point I like it better. I tried out a Blackbird and tried to use the Opti_Grab

and it just felt weird, so for me I'd never use it. I also don't like extra hardware on a bass

that would ether get in the way or not be used (thumb rest, pick up covers, etc...)

Personally I like yours better with out the handle.
