magictwanger
I know that Gibson is no longer making these for Fuller's vintage Guitar, but may once again do so in the future.Admittedly,I have a wonderful 2011(bought in late 2012)Fuller's '39 J-35 that I love.I have played some boutique models.....all great(and expensive)but wonder if some folks, with more experience than me have compared the Fuller's '39 J-35 to others and what are your thoughts. Much thanks
fp
I had one and thought it was a fantastic guitar. I liked it better then a 54 J45 I had at the same time. I presently have a J45 1942 Banner reissue which is a fantastic guitar and from what I can remember from my Fullers J35 it would hold it's own with this J45. The workmanship on the Fullers was perfect as well. The only similar guitar I compared it with is my Santa Cruz VJ which is sitka and mahogany. Now the VJ is longer scale then the J35 of course. The J35 was louder but the VJ just is better balanced and sweeter sounding.
