I'm trying to find out if it is original. The guitar is in excellent condition. My question is, the pickups have gold and silver poles. Open pickups. Most pics I've seen have gold covered pickups. I don't usually like them much, but in...8 years now I haven't changed them so they must alright! Without a doubt, 40 odd years playing, it is the best built, best finished, superbestest Gibson I have ever owned, I can't believe it is mine.
