Luke17
Bought this guitar in 2008 from MF.Can't remember the exact name, lost receipt...it is cherry with flamed top, It never held tune, especially E and A strings.First guitar I ever bought that couldn't be played at least minimally right out of the box ..I think all it needs is a decent set up....so it's going to the shop tomorrow ...needs to be played.I can't remember exactly what it was labeled when I ordered it...Pro top or Premier top seems to stick in my mind....Any help?Got it in July of 2008.Peace, Luke

You might want to post this in the Epiphone sub-form - http://forum.gibson.com/index.php?/forum/90-epiphone-electrics/ To me the pic looks like the top is flamed maple (not quilted) . I was just wondering about this guitar in the Gibson SG forum. The pic of this LP says flame top to me also. And of course, I support your advice to post into the Epi subforum.
