Priority Four
I was in an outdoor store and saw a huge gun safe for about 2K that I figure would hold my two acoustics and three electrics in their cases and still have room for a couple of long guns. I would worry less when I was away from home for an extended period. No way I'd keep them in there all the time. Anybody have a guitar safe? BluesKing777
Good idea! You could get the matching ammunition safe to keep your picks and capos and accessories! Problem for me is......a few too many guitars to fit.......😊 BluesKing777.

Aster1
I'd like one for some guns & some gold. No guitars in it however I guess. Aster
L8_4thesh0w
This has crossed my mind before. It would probably make insuring them a bit cheaper. Might help some in the event of a fire as well.
DenverSteve
It's not a good combination. Guitars need humidity - guns hate it.
fortyearspickn
We have a small safe - water and fireproof. The instructions warn against leaving valuables in for extended periods of time. They state that some materials can be ruined by the humid, stagnant environment. So, the only option for guitars, it would seem, would be a safe that protected from theft only - and let some air in and out.
BobF_
Anti-theft is the main reason I'm interested. When I'm home, they are all out within easy reach

gottabetweed
I share your concern about theft. Heritage Music Instrument Insurance solved that concern. www.musicins.com $20,000 of insurance for 200.00 a year. Covers you at home, while gigging, accidental damage. I will never be without it. Maybe, but if thieves got in wouldn't it be great to see that look on their faces? You sure wouldn't want to let him go hungry! Σß
blindboygrunt
Going away for a long time I'd give my guitars to friends to keep in their homes. Either friends I totally trusted or friends who don't play guitars :)
