You can't really make a side by side comparison due to playing style differences, but they both bring something to the table and sound pretty nice in their own ways. The burst on that J-45 Elite Koa is beautiful. The projection and big bottom end of the J-35 is clearly evident. I have a J-35 and it's loud and bassy too.
