Tony P does a different guitar

There's been a lot of crankiness here recently about some fundamental problems with guitars: grain run-out, mis-matched tops, shrinking and swelling with humidity changes, corduroy top grain, etc, etc, etc.

In other words, just about every problem associated with guitars made out of that unruly natural material we call "wood".

Tony has the solution to your problems, and it's right here:

(In the interest of full disclosure, I have one of these that goes with me when I travel. One quibble with the review: the nut width is actually 1 3/4", not 1 11/16. And the bridge pin spacing is 2 1/4".)

The tone, by the way, is exactly as represented in this video.

Sounds good - better than some wood guitars I have owned in the past!

So it goes to show you only really need strings, preferably in tune.

Our local airlines are cracking back or down on carry-on luggage and soon probably only allowed to take your voice - good when you see what the morons try to take onboard sometimes, but not much good for the travel guitars...:
