cjsinla
Hi, I'd like to know the string gauge (by factory) of the Firebird Tikibird Elliot Easton... I haven't found that info nowhere. Thanks Did you buy it new? Gibson has been using 10 to 46 Brite Wires for years. Recently, in 2014 I think, they went to Cleartone 9 to 46. The Cleartones are coated and have different colored ball ends, the Brite Wires' ends are all the same color.
Panzer
Referring to Cleartones, are they made of Nickel-Plated Steel or a different material? P.S: I didn't buy the Elliot Easton, I think I'll go for a 2014 'bird
SteveFord
2013 is the last year for the nibs if that's important to you. I have one and it's really a great guitar - handsome, sounds good and is really easy to play.
