thunderdr
Can a guy "wrap over" strings on the bridge like Billy Gibbons and others on a G-Force Tuning system LP? Or would that screw up the tuning system? thanks, mike
capmaster
In my guess it will take a bit more care during stringing, but as soon as the strings run properly across the saddles, it should be the same.

thunderdr
good point rabs... looks like a different kind of bridge though. Maybe it will work. I wonder what the Company says about it. Guess I could call them...
GuitarBuilder
I doubt the bridge or wrapping will make a difference.
CharlieP
As long as intonation is right.
mattthedjentleman
Both the LP Double Cut and Junior have them so id guess its ok :) looks like it can be pulled off. I would just be worried about tension. There's the possibility of burning out the internal mechanism of the G-Force. Then again, the G-force has been pretty sturdy from the times I have played with it. Yeah, tension is the only problem I can think of, but nothing the G-Force can't do! Searcy
Top wrapping dosn't change the string tension so there's nothing to worry about there.

Exactly, since you are changing the tail piece which is before the saddle you have nothing to worry about. I've top wrapped my strings on my 2015 Les Paul in order to lower the tail piece closer to the body of the guitar.
Biddlin
I top wrapped my modded LPJ with a min E-tune, the last time I changed strings,to prove to my son it doesn't improve tone or sustain . The min E-tune works fine. ;>)/
billymagnum
i can safely say that wrapping is fine with a minetune. i tried it out before i slapped my bigsby on. no issues.
