dablues
Hi all! This is my first post, and I really appreciate having a supportive and knowledgable group of folks here upon which I can trust. I have a rather strange questions about a used '95 Les Paul Junior Special II (the single cut with P90s or P100s, haven't checked yet). I know that the bridge is supposed to be put directly into the wood in some of these old reissues, but the stop bar is also put directly into the wood. It seems fine, and I don't care about trade in value or anything; I just want to know if it is a bad idea in the long run. Thanks!
dablues
And by "directly in the wood", I mean it has no bushings.
retrorod
I am not positive, but it doesn't sound like the best of ideas. Do you think it was an aftermarket add-on? Is it bolted-down or screwed? A picture would help me.
