Replacement Parts

Hi All,

 

I have a 15 year old Joe Pass Emperor II that doesn't have it's original pickguard any longer.

 

Does anyone know if there is a parts catalog that I can order a replacement from?

 

Before anyone suggests just getting a replacement of some other type, that is not quite what I'm after as it already has an ebony benedetto style one at the moment.

I really want the bound shell type with or preferably without signature.

 

I have written to customer support but haven't gotten a response. Being in Australia our dealers have no access to parts through the distributor either only Gibson parts.

 

I hope someone can give me an answer.

Welcome Dening. If Customer Services don't come up with anything then you are very much looking at the second hand market. Ebay is the obvious place, and such things do show up from time to time. Good luck!

If you can't find one easily, try contacting this guy adudzik@pickguardian.com He can make anything you need in a huge variety of materials and colors. He made the custom pickguard on my SG with P-Rails. He did a great job and the price was reasonable considering it was handmade. He probably has a pattern for the JP already, but you can send him a tracing of your existing pickguard if he doesn't.
