Oh MY..I think I found my next Epiphone

This model is made by Terada in Japan, and so far, it has only been available in Japan.

From the photos, it appears to be almost a dead ringer for the McCartney '64 Texan made by Terada beginning in 2005 (part of McCartney's Adopt-A-Minefield fundraiser). There were 1,964 made, and I happen to have one from the first year. The build quality is the equal of any Gibson, and the tone, feel, & appearance very nicely replicates the mid-60s Gibson-made original.

I would expect this new version to be very similar in overall quality, but be prepared for a price tag in excess of $2000.

I saw it posted on the Epiphone website.

Don't really care too much about the price if it's worth the investment.

Then again I can usually find original mid 60's Texans for around that same price point or a bit more.

Those will have "opened up" some yet won't be as pristine as the new model

Guess I'm different and don't believe any guitar is worth more than my truck.
