Skullbros Posted December 8, 2014 Share Posted December 8, 2014 I recently acquired this bass. The seller told me that it is a 1968 EB-3. However, one of the pots (CBA-811-1053) dates to 1965 and the serial number, 853514, puts it at 1966, if this source is correct: http://www.gibson.com/Files/downloads/bluebook/GibsonSERIALNUMBERS.pdf This other site, http://www.guitardaterproject.org/gibson.aspx, says it was made in Kalamazoo in 1966 or 1969.
