Johnny Rockit
I bought a 2003 es-335 today but in looking at the model number on the sticker is says es***335. Is this a different model 335? Love the guitar but wondering what the additional characters mean. Thanks for any input! Serial number comes up as a Nashville build on guitar dater. Pic attatched (I blocked out part of the serial# with photoshop).
cjsinla
Seen that before, found this on the forum: Are you sure it isn't "ESDT"? ES = Electric Spanish. D=Dot. P=Plain Top (vs. T=Figured Top --go figure?).
Pesh
Was there any paperwork that came with the axe that could add illumination?

Johnny Rockit
Could be mistaken but I think it is a Memphis 335 figured gloss as that one on Gibson's site looks closest to it. When running the serial # it shows: Your guitar was made at the Nashville Plant, TN, USA April 25th, 2003 Production Number: 434 Did they make that model and designate it ESDT 335 IN 2003? Someone else had said Electric Spanish Dual Pickup Thinline.
