I Feel Like Makin Love

What a great song..

A real exercise in guitar dynamics. Soft mellow to overdriven loud in a second.

Our band played it in the 70s. I sang it. Nearly impossible to do justice to a Paul R song I think unless you're him.

The hairy chest, the tight pants, the meaningful lyrics...

If it wasn't a big song before, the internet is going to catapult it into mega-hit status. So many million hits per day, complete computer networks will be overloaded and shut down.

Maybe not. The tempo is all wrong for doing it to the music.

Why can't people post cataclysmic monster songs here?

The Boy Named Sue - Johnny Cash

My Dingaling - Chuck Berry

Quite possibly the worst euphemism for engaging in coitus ever coined, really.

HAHAHAHALOL!! [laugh]

so polite......love it! what a hoot!!

OK, so lets explore the possibilities here (when I stop laughing...hold on, give me a sec.....ok, I'm good). If Bad Company had named that song something else...what would that have been?

I feel like doing the horizontal hula

I feel like bumping happy glands

I feel like hiding the saus (babe, I have a chubby)

I feel like a root

I do believe I have an urge to engage in coitus (this one get's my vote)

I feel like giving you a hot, hard, high one

Oh, the possibilities are hilariously endlesss,

try some out

After Free split Bad Co. were, for a time, the 'next best thing'.

They wrote some great songs.

Mick Ralphs is one of those guitarists who should be far better-known than they are.

Not flashy but very tasteful and melodic both when he was with Mott the Hoople and afterwards.

For those who don't really know him;

My son, my nephew & I still have a blast jamming on this tune. The dynamics are exactly what I'm trying to teach my nephew.

Saw Bad Co in 2009 (of course Boz was already gone by then and they had Howard Leese on second guitar, but otherwise, the original band). They can still bring a house down. Paul really is one of the best voices in rock...not counting the mis-fire with Queen.

Yes, Mick's a good guitarist, but he isn't Paul Kossoff!

Agreed! Some great tunes Bad Co had - even without Koss's weeping solos. In fact I think I'm gonna try and work this one up for our trio.

I was playing this in my office during lunch a couple of months ago (Stratacoustic & a little battery powered Mini-Tweed). Couple of the women I work with wandered in and started singing the verses. Seems to me it still gets a pretty good response from folks of...uh..a certain age...

Good song I enjoy playing. Even better when someone else enjoys it too.
