Gibson GA-90

I have a GA-90 amp. It's in good condition, but has Ben in storage for more than 50 years. What is something like that worth ? Any help with this is very much appreciated.

The GA-90 is one of the more valuable Gibson amplifiers made. The VG Price Guide lists the first year as 1953 and the final production year at 1960. The first year amps can fetch a few hundred dollar premium over the later ones. If your father-in-law got both the guitar and amp at the same time then the amp is likely a '53 too.

 

Depending on the condition, the price guide estimates a value between $1550 and $1925 for that amp. Most Gibson amps have trouble bringing a grand so that's a desirable amp.
