Cougar
Prices for harmonica neck holders range from about $10 to $85. Anybody use these and recommend one over the other? I'm kind of leaning toward a Hohner for about 15 bucks. Then I'm going after this piece : http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=DSXK73lS0JE
btoth76
Hello! Not familiar with the subject. All I know that Hohner has a long history and good reputation of making harmonicas... Good luck... Bence
Versatile
There are many out there... Some have single wing nut, some have double... Lee Oskar make harps and holders K and M make holders which look cool Problem with many holders is they slip when played So a perusal of internet sites or preferably a real shop supplier is recommended... milod
My whatever brand had two wingnuts and springs on a cheapie - but given that I bought it roughly 50 years ago, don't ask what brand or what I paid for it... m
surfpup
I've had one of these Axman brand ones for nearly 20 years. No problems. Works fine and it was cheap I think. Don't know that they make them anymore - but I've seen similar ones on retail sites for around $

Haha, that describes one I used to have about 30 years ago. Problem with many holders is they slip when played... I remember. The wingnuts need to be tight! I've had one of these Axman brand ones for nearly 20 years. No problems.... That does look like a cool one that I didn't see on my initial scan of what's out there. I'll look for it..... So nobody likes Apple Scruffs that much? :(
milod
BTW, my harp holder also held a kazoo. Worked great for San Francisco Bay Blues and such. I wish I still had the college newspaper pix of me doing just that in the fall fo '65. Ah time, what have you done to me. m

I too had one but we were parted some years ago. Even if you don't plan on using a kazoo now, you may want to in the future.
RickGibsonDenver
The problem I have with my "around the neck holder" is that I can't see around it, and have to play the guitar by feel alone. I'm just not that good yet.
