rct
Decent seats at Boardwalk Hall in AC start at 700 bucks each to see Fleetwood Mac. As much as I'd love to see the old bags and have Stevie sing to me alone*, we will do something much better with 1400 dollars. rct *I know all you jokers are hatin. flyingfrets
I just read Mick's autobiography and I'd really like to see them...but not $700 a seat worth. Shame too cause I'm right on the border of Egg Harbor Township & Somers Point - about 12 miles from Boardwalk Hall. Would've been an easy trip & a nice night out, but I can think of LOTS of things I'd rather (or NEED to) be doing with $1400. Oh Well...(pardon the pun). I saw them down here in Adelaide back in '78 or '79, and the tickets back then were a staggering........$30! My God! how do they justify $700!! If scalpers are going to take a bath on tickets they can't sell, you may get a pair at showtime for $700 But you must look out for counterfeit tickets. Unfortunately that is a good reason to buy your tickets through Ticket Master for full price.

Searcy
I was actually planning to see them next year when they came to town but if tickets are $700 (or even $300) I'll be skipping it. I'm not rich enough for the rock and roll lifestyle.

Most of these seats will be comped to casino losers, they will look at their phones and get up and leave a quarter of the way through. Seen enough acts down there to know how it goes, and to know it just isn't worth the effort, not for that town. rct

I'm actually really pissed off that Gibson hasn't forced me to buy a MinEtun yet!! I've had to track down people who have them and buy them on my own! I'm not rich enough for the rock and roll lifestyle. Yes you are and yes you can, I saw Steel Panther last night for $25. They played all the favorites, Glory Hole, Gangbang at the Old Folks Home, Party Like Its the End of the World, etc. Cold beer, topless women on stage, great guitar playing...I feel so rock n' roll this morning. 'Scales
hmm... the covers band will be paid $700 to play on NYE, so if nobody shows up then the owner will have paid $700 to watch us - and she could have seen 'Mac at the same price!!!... - cool! I'd have happily enough paid $700 for Zeppelin at O2 in 2007 but that's probably about it.
EVOL!
You're forgetting the ticket master fees, so it's more like $1600 for two tix.

Cougar
Decent seats at Boardwalk Hall in AC start at 700 bucks each to see Fleetwood Mac. Oh, that Boardwalk Hall. But wait a minute. Is that the price from ticketmaster or whoever initially sold the tix, or is that from the guy who camped out all night to get six seats in the 1st 10 rows at some reasonable price, who then sold them to the ticket seller in town for $300 apiece, who then offers them up for $700 each?
