Hello, friends.

I have a Turntable T.92 USB connected into an Onkyo HT-R791 reciever.
This reciever doesn't have a Phono input, therefore it's switchched the output to "line".
The problem is that the output sound volume is almost half than the volume reached in the same level with other connected devices like cd player, radio, dvd, games, etc.
For example, the volume reached in the 30 level with a cd sounds equal to a 60 level with the Satanton T.92 turntable.
I supossed that i need a preamp.

Wich kind or brand of preamp do you recomend me?

Best Regards!

A phono pre-amp not only boost the signal, it also equalizes it to RIAA specs....basically, records are recorded with that EQ curve that must be corrected.

You need a phono amp or a reciever that has a phono input.

I wish I could....

I have been out of the "audiophile" game for a while now, and what I COULD have recommended is no longer available, or what is available I haven't experienced.

So...your guess might be as good as mine.

I am not even all that familiar with the turntable and cartridge you named here.

Hello,

There are simple phono to line converters- just look at this link or search online
