Paul G.
Picked one up after Christmas. This guitar is literally a barrel of monkeys. Great tone, light as a feather, plays like a champ. Changed out knobs for reflectors because Speeds remind me of every cheap Asian guitar of the last 30 years. I'm going to try to fit a pick guard this Saturday. old mark
I bought one early last spring, a reverse sunburst from 2008... Liked it so much that I found a 2 pickup model also from 2008 and bought that one, too. VERY under rated fun to play and lots of good sounds. Synns
I love my 2003 melody maker, ive been thinking about getting one of the 2 pickup versions myself. Nice basic guitar, love them though I do prefer the nice full size headstock on the newer ones.

Very cool I love the MM and Junior type guitars.. No nonsense.. just pure rocking machines... I think its their basicness that makes them so great.. I have a double cut special.. LOVE it so much..
