Washingtons
Hello everyone I only introduced myself a few months when i signed myself up for this forum. So much contribution and very helpful discussions. Thank you. I just got my first amp dirt cheap and its a VOX AC30C2 and not very familiar with the tone settings. But its been 2 days since i had it. What are some good settings i could try if any of you use a VOX and Do you have any info on how to get that beatles sound like the White Album (yer blues, While my guitar gently weeps, revolution) and Abbey Road, Let it Be albums on the VOX amp? Zentar
On the song "Let It Be" there is one version where Harrison said he played the guitar through a amp for an Wurlitzer organ with reverb. They experimented constantly even changing from take to take. I always liked the Wurlitzer version there is a fabulous book I have called "Beatles Gear' by Andy Bubiak that covers every instrument and piece of equipment they used their entire career. Pic heavy. If you're a Beatle fan and musician it's a must. It is the most interesting Beatle book I've ever seen. I'm amazed anybody could put something together so complete. http://www.amazon.com/Beatles-Gear-Fours-Instruments-Studio/dp/0879309563
