Craig C
Hi there, I have an Epiphone PR-755S that I bought around 10 years ago. I absolutely love it, and it is possibly the best musical instrument purchase I have made. It sounds amazing! I have always been fascinated about it because there is very little information about this model online, and I have yet to see another pop up on eBay. I believe it was manufactured in Japan in the late 70s to early 80s. The thing that I find the most puzzling is that inside the guitar it is labeled as an EP-755S. I spent a while researching online and I couldn't find anything about an EP-755S or any EP series of guitars. Is it possible that this guitar is mislabeled? Or are all guitars in the PR series labeled as EP? Or is it perhaps some other code that means it was a preproduction model or something? I have attached a picture of inside the soundhole. Any insight would be greatly appreciated. Thanks so much!
Nyghthawk
http://epiphonewiki.com/index.php/PR-Series#PR-755 I don't know but this is my best guess.
Craig C
Thanks Nyghthawk. That is the guitar, but I am wondering why it is labeled EP-755S and not PR-755S. I was thinking perhaps it is some bit of Epiphone trivia that I am not aware of.
